Field Trips

Generally, we schedule field trips for 10:00 a.m., but we are flexible with times to fit your schedule. Guided field trips are $4 per person, which includes rolling a beeswax candle and planting a plant. Small unguided tours with no activities are free of charge, however we do accept donations towards our animal feed bills to help cover costs. For an additional $1 you could include one of our delicious honey ice creams. Below is a registration form. If you are interested in a tour, please call or e-mail to reserve your time.
Nana’s Kitchen
Schedule Nana’s Kitchen for your next birthday party or small group meeting. A $25 reservation fee plus a $25 cleaning deposit will allow you to use this certified kitchen with tables and food preparation area. Prepare your family recipes for sale, or host a birthday party at Walk-About Acres—a fun and different environment. What about some of our great ice cream or fresh baked goods for your next small meeting? We are a great location for a small outdoor wedding. Give us a call to see if we can meet your needs.
Beekeeping Supplies
If you e-mail or fax your order we can have it ready for pick-up, usually by the next business day or we can ship your order by UPS.
Special Requests
